NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF THE NORTH TOOELE FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE DISTRICT

2025 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION

 Pursuant to the provisions of Utah Code Annotated § 20A-1-206, the North Tooele Fire Protection Service District, Tooele County, Utah, hereby gives notice that on October 15, 2025, the District Board passed and approved Resolution No. 2025-18, a resolution cancelling the November 4, 2025, Municipal General Election and declaring each unopposed candidate elected to office.

PRIOR ELECTION INFORMATION

The North Tooele Fire District will hold a District election to elect (2) Board Members for a 4-year term from January 2026 - December 2029. Given a sufficient number of candidates, a primary election will be held on August 12, 2025, with the municipal general election being held on November 4, 2025.

Candidate Filing Period

The filing period is from June 1, 2025, to June 9, 2025, during regular office hours, Monday – Thursday 9:00am through 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am through 2:00pm and not later than 5:00 p.m. on the last day of filing. The filing is to be done in person with the Administration at the North Tooele Fire District, Stansbury Park Fire Station, 179 Country Club Stansbury Park, Utah.

Declaration of Candidacy Forms

The following forms need to be completed by declaring candidates.  Forms must be submitted in person with original signatures. All forms in the packet must be submitted at the same time.

Please look them over, as there are additional forms required this year such as a conflict-of-interest disclosure and, if needed, name variation forms. The forms will be provided in the office, however, it is recommended that candidates fill out the conflict-of-interest form and name variation forms in advance.

Primary Election - August 12, 2025 (if needed)

General Election - November 4, 2025 (if needed)

Ballots will be mailed out the by Tooele County Clerk office about three weeks before the election. Please call the Tooele County elections office if you do not receive your ballot.

 In accordance with Utah Code 20A-6-305, the candidates will be listed in order according to the 2024-2025 Master Ballot Position List.
